Two horizontal blades of heat-treated ash wood are joined by polished, zapon-varnished aluminium terminals and rotate around a central tubular LED light source, allowing variable light emission between direct, indirect, and asymmetrical distribution. A slender sliver of light remains visible at all times, giving the lamp a quietly poetic presence whether switched on or off.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDesigned by Tobia Scarpa in 1963 and reissued in 2025, the Seki-Han draws on naval woodworking techniques — the ash is CNC-milled in Northern Italy and heat-treated to prevent warping.
